It’s possible I’ve mentioned Ninja Tune before… They’ve been a favourite record label of mine for some time.
That said, I hadn’t really heard many of their recent artists, so I set about correcting that. I dug deep to find all the singles from the last few years, and then anything vaguely housey / techno / repetitive beats-y is caught in this mix.
So as it turns out they’ve got some big ol’ names on the books these days! Barry Can’t Swim, Odesza, Bicep, Bonobo, Floating Points, Maribou State, Nilüfer Yanya, etc.
I was very pleased to discover Marie Davidson, Tycho and LP Giobbi through doing this mix. I’d definitely recommend a listen.
